Nightly Gem Page 1

So this was the first page of The Nightly Gem that never got released properly.  I'm posting it now so I can get it off my mind.

I was going to make it a no-line style comic.  Here's the shot of the progress of how that went: sta.sh/012efzmh0q5k

The story was going to be a basic mind swap comic between Rarity and Princess Luna.  Why those two?  Ignoring the same VA; the two seemed to produce some rather hilarious results in my head by intermixing them.

The gist of the story would be that someone or something has swapped Princess Luna and Rarity's minds!  Celestia has disembarked with both Discord and Twilight by her side, leaving Rarity and Luna to figure out this mess for themselves.  What's worse, there are envoys from the Griffon Empire coming to Equestria and Luna was slated to take care of them so they would be happy and keep out of trouble in Equestria!  Rarity has dresses due that she needs to complete!  What can be done?

Also the comic would have ended up longer than I initially thought.  Originally I was expecting maybe 5-8 pages of this size.  As I thought on the story more, it expanded to 15, 20, and eventually as many as 30-40.  There's just no feasible way for me to do that many comics and work on other things.

Edit: It should be noted that this comic was drawn back in January of this year. I'm JUST A BIT LATE on posting it.

Double Edit: Ahah I just realized I left the color references on there. I may clean those up and re-upload this.

Triple Edit: AW JEEZE I SHOULD HAVE NEVER POSTED THIS. EVERYONE KEEPS SAYING, "I want to see this! This looks interesting!" AND IT HAS ME THINKING ON IT AGAIN AUGH. I HAVE TOO MUCH TO DO.
(But I really would like to revisit this and make more pages.)
